so it's the day after christmas and i'm back up at work which is way lame.  no one is here and all i can do is read MOPs.  no bueno.  christmas was pretty cool yesterday though.  i got some neato stuff and because i like to show off i will share some highlights.

and because i'm all nosy i want to know what everyone else got too.  because it's fun. 

today after work i'm going to take down the tree because i think it's kinda sad to leave it up after christmas.  and if i wait too long it'll still be up in march.  no bueno.  everyone keeps asking what we're doing for new years and i don't know what to tell people.  "hopefully nothing" doesnot sound too festive but that's what i'm hoping for.  i think i'll leave the house for something like this:

 but nothing less.  i may be having an evening similar to christi's but with zinfindel instead of chianti.  i'll start lining up my netflix queue now.  any good new years movies you can think of?  i love this two three day weekends in a row stuff.  i'll have to wait another year before i get one again.  2007... do you know how crazy that sounds.

well i'm going to go try to track down some celebrity gossip.  someone had to have done something stupid of the christmas holiday and a paparazzi (aka my news source) had to have caught it.

 

 

because i'm in the mood.  my boss came in at around 10 o'clock and said "you can go home if you want."  um... sweet.  i had a few things to do so i did them and pulled out of the parking lot at 11:45AM.  it was so super cool.  now i've just finished a whole amy's pizza and am effing around on the internet.  supa kroo!!

i have the most awesome christmas playlist on itunes.  i downloaded some of the craziest songs i could find on SLSK and this is one of my favorites from the lot.

... and play me some zelda on my phat wii i'm going to update this here blog.  seeing how i haven't done it very faithfully lately.  i like posting stuff because i can go back and remember stuff like.. "oh yea... i remember that."  like the christmas party we had last weekend that was crazy good time fun.

 

i like it when crixpy comes to visit.  we stay up crazy late, get hella drunk, get food at the cabana at 4AM and then go to the loophole still drunk the next morning.  that's cause we're fuckin' rock stars yo!  we did this white elephant thing and shawn got the sweetest gift ever.  it's an usher frog.  i'll leave it at that and post some video.  if i can get the videos i post to actually show up in my vox.  i posted one of shawn in the jeep that is funny but if i put it on my youtube then i'd get more crazy jackasses asking me if i'd like to chat sometime.  thank you sir for your mass email that you send to anyone who comes up female but i'm truely not interested.

anyone else excited about christmas?  i'm happy because i don't have to go anywhere and that's super fine.  this time my parents can drive to ME!  hahahaha.  my tree rules too.  i love it.  i want to see what everyone got.  post pictures when you get stuff.  we had a gift swap at work today which was cool.  i got one of those reed scenty diffuser things that i've been thinking about buying for months but would never actually throw down cash on it.  i also got an electric pencil sharpener which was totally what i needed.  whoot!!

i finally got all the pictures off my phone and onto my computer.  i need to print them all out and make a photo album.  i want to share my pictures with friends and stuff but not with god and creation so i don't post much online.  well, my bottle of ravenswood vintners blend shiraz and i have some shit to kill with our mighty zelda sword.  so you kids play nice...

so so so.  new news on the liz front believe it or not.  i guess i just waited until i actually had something to talk about.  but don't get all excited because it's probably not actually that cool.

1. shawn and i froze our ass off outside of target for 12 hours to get our hands on a wii... and we fucking love it.

2. we are victorious at 8AM (yours truly as photographer).

 

3. i'm up ray lamontagne's ass today and you should be too.

 

4. tomorrow id my friday cause it's all thanksgiving n'shit.  i got an x-mas tree and i'll post pictures as soon as it goes up, which can be no earlier than the day after thanksgiving.  fuck x-mas edging in on the other holidays.  let everyone have their holdicay time god damn it.  or else just call hallmark and make it christmas 24/7 like in that movie brazil.

5. i love celebrity gossip.  paris hilton nearly puked on jay-z?  britney spears porn?  more lindsay lohan poo-nanny?  rachael ray and that stuff i smoked with emily in the denton ghetto house (salvia)?  this shit keeps me sane. 

6. anyone want to get in on my CD swap?  emily and i have a pretty good thing going.  i desperatly need to send shit to crixpy but her address keeps getting lost.

7. i posted josh, ben and i on youtube.  go see!  it's a 3 part video taken a while back.  i came across it when cleaning out backup computer files on CD.  i also came up with a nudie pic of some people i used to know, shelly and justin.  you win some and you lose some.

so i'm pretty damn sure that no one cares as much about the britney/kfed split as much as i do.  except maybe holley.  you go girl!!  but it's been eating up all my time.  plus the notion that there may be a sex tape out there some where that the looser asshole is trying to use to blackmail my favorite pop princess.

but on a side note, why do celebrities allow this to happen to them?  if i could shit out a million dollars i would probably think about it but if someone else could make millions while my career went down the tubes i'd think twice.  some people have mentioned "well it made paris famous."  yea, cause she had no "career" to start with.  if you're famous before a sex tape then it's not going to add a boost.  plus you won't be the one gettin' money.

so the moral of this story is... if a no name back up dancer wants to tape you going down on him when you have everything to lose and he has everything to gain just say no.  can't people have a fufilling sexual relationship without taping it?  if you go for the camcorder be prepared for other people to see it.  either it'll be a trainspotting mix up or a paris hilton debockle.

to i'm in the middle of one of the worst storms i've experienced in a long time.  yes, i know i shouldn't be on my computer right now but i'm just so happy to have power again.  so it all started when i noticed some drizzle this morning and thought to myself "hmm, it might rain today."  cut to me a few hours later stepping out of the kroger totally oblivious to the torrential downpour that i stepped out into. 

then everything went black.  kroger, parking lot, businesses accross the street.  everything black.  just the pounding sound of the rain 5 feet from me and my cart.  seconds later everything burst into light again and i thought "suck."  i ran to  my car, pulled it up to the curb of the kroger and loaded everything in.  i was soaking wet but thought the worst was over.  wrong.

denton is completely floaded which is pretty normal for a heavy rain but while driving i notice a few things.

1. the lightning is almost constant
2. the lightning is blue/green
3. there are no lights in my neighborhood.

none.  so i load everything in the house, light some tealights and read.  the weather is crazy and i keep poking my head outside to listen for tornado sirens.  i call my husband 20 times to keep asking him if the news says denton is the new atlantis.  the dog is freaking out, i'm kinda freaking out and worst of all i'm bored.  about 2 hours or so later the lights cut back on and all is well.
the weather looks like this which is so undramatic.  it felt as though the entire DFW area was solid red.  but all is well now (i hope) and i'm off to bed.  i trust my house is going to be here when i wake up though the weather is still pretty damn nasty.  plus there's another red glob headed straight for me, but i'll be alseep and therefor better off.

tomorrow i'm headed to duncanville to attend the duncanville marching invitational competition.  this dude...

 

...is my little brother and he's a senior which means no more competitions after this so i'm headed down to show my support.  i'm going to have to stop at the adult beverage store and pick up a flask of something to entertain me the other 5 hours that he won't be playing (i'm going to stick around to see if they go to finals).  shawn has to work so i may have to go it alone.  anyone want to go with me?
